About KCM

Our Mission

Kairos is a Greek word for time, meaning the right or opportune moment. KCM is the place where time and destiny meet. Kairos Church Ministries’ mission is preparing people for Christian service by gathering the harvest, preparing the harvest, and launching the harvest. This is accomplished through the acronym, BBTS.
-Bring Them
-Build Them
-Train Them
-Send Them
Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest. – Matthew 9:38

OUR LEADERS

Apostle Charles Lewis, Sr., DMin.

Apostle Lewis was nurtured in the United Holy Church and groomed in the COGIC. His exuberance and passion for souls catapulted him into the founding of PKOK Fellowship (Possessing the Keys of the Kingdom Fellowship). PKOK is fellowship centered on training apostolic minded ministries and leaders. Coupled with his spontaneity in biblical worship, his rejuvenating nature, as well as his fervent commitment to the body of Christ the fellowship has grown and touched many ministries across the Eastern parts of North Carolina.

Dr Lewis is married to Lisa Lewis, and they have been blessed with three children. Dr. Lewis was called to preach the gospel in 1990, and licensed in COGIC in 1991, and ordained by the Southern Convocation of the United Holy Church of America, in 1994. In December 2009 Dr. Lewis answered the call of God to move from his denomination to the non-denominational Apostolic Ministry and to the Apostolic Fatherhood to give birth to sons and daughters in the kingdom of God, nurturing a relationship through parental feeling, concern and responsibility, imparting covenant of Christ, which brings the order of God that establishes and empowers sons/daughters to maturity, preparing them to one day become fathers who will bring forth fruit, and fruit that remains.

Dr. Lewis’s accomplishments include but are not limited to presently serving on the Clinical Pastoral Education Board at Vidant Medical Center, Greenville, NC, instructor at Shaw University Cape Site in Greenville, NC, site coordinator for Apex School of Theology (Site-15 located in Greenville, NC). He holds a Masters of Religious Education (Shaw University) and Doctorate of Biblical Worship (Gordon- Conwell Theological Seminary). Dr Lewis is also the author of Reconciliation of Worship in the Black Church: Spontaneous Worship and his recently published work The Father Seeketh Such to Worship Him.

Dr. Lewis is the senior pastor of Kairos Church Ministries in Wilson, NC; Antioch Church Ministries in Bell Arthur, NC; and the overseer of New Life Faith Center in Kinston, NC.

The outreach coordinator serves the church by developing and facilitating an effective and comprehensive program of both local community outreach and global missions. In these times of economic uncertainty, our clothing and food distribution ministry supports not only the KCM community, but the surrounding community as well.
