Welcome to the Kairos Church Ministries (KCM) 21st Century Community Learning Center, which is located at 1003 Lodge Street, Kairos Church Ministries. We are excited about the impact that we will make in your child’s life.


The Mission of the Kairos Church Ministries (KCM) 21st CCLC is to:
1.  Create an extended day by providing an after-school component that supports the instruction received at school during the day.
2. Provide tutoring and enrichment activities to boost self-esteem and teach more positive decision-making, study skills, and habits.
3. Provide literacy, health, and other educational services to families of students participating in the program.


Each student enrolling in the KCM 21st CCLC program must be enrolled as a student at one of the following feeder schools:
BO Barnes Elementary
Winstead Elementary School
Margaret Hearne Elementary School
Vick Elementary School
Darden Middle School
Forest Hills Middle School
Complete an application for enrollment.
Applications must be completed onsite and parents must attend an orientation prior to students being enrolled in the program. Applications can be obtained between the hours of 3:00 – 6:00 pm, Monday- Thursday at 1003 Lodge St S, Wilson, NC 27893. Contact Mrs. Lewis or Mrs. Eason at 252-281-1171.


KCM 21st CCLC operates Monday through Thursday. KCM’s hours are 3:15-6:15. The KCM 21st CCLC also offers educational, literacy, physical and health education activities on selected Saturdays. The KCM 21st CCLC follows the Wilson County Schools calendar. KCM 21st CCLC is closed on holidays, early release days, teacher workdays, and annual leave days. Summer Program hours are 8:00 am – 2:00 pm.


KCM 21st CCLC provides transportation to feeder schools served.  Students will also be transported to their homes each day.

The Program is offered to all students free of cost.


Parental Involvement is essential in the success of the individual child as well as the success of and improvement of the schools.  The earlier and more consistently parents become involved, the more positive the results. 

As the parent, your participation with this program is just as important as your students’.  It is for this reason, we are committed to promoting your involvement by offering the following opportunities for your participation:
